Fish oil contains so called ‘health’ fats, which essentially are polyunsaturated fats. Unline saturated fats of animals they do not increase cholesterol levels. Thus the oil has positive effect on the body overall.
Polyunsaturated fats have two groups Omega-3 and Omega-6. Both of them help regulate blood pressure and body temperature. That fact improves immune system. They are also required to create prostagiandins, essential hormone-like chemicals not produced naturally. Therefore, the only way to receive them is through changing our diet, or taking Fish Oil Pills to make sure the intake is adequate.
